I went to see Helena at My Face Place to have microblading done on my eyebrows. I had this service done years ago by another aesthetician and the results were not optimal. My eyebrows are thin and I really wanted to have them filled in and look more balanced and natural.   Helena greeted me warmly and discussed the procedure thoroughly before starting any work. She also took the time to thoroughly review the medical screening, allergies and medications, even vitamins that might affect the work to be done. She also gave me a comprehensive after-care kit and explained everything I needed to do to ensure the best results.   The microblading itself took a short amount of time. Helena is highly skilled with the blade and the results look fantastic!   Helena also offers a more permanent technique using cosmetic tattooing, where she can incorporate both to achieve more depth to my brows and presented this as an option should I want more work on my brows done.

My experience at My Face Place was holistic and meditative and I left with an overwhelming sense of calm.   Overall, Helena is highly skilled and passionate about what she does. It takes an artist to work on sensitive areas such as the face, and Helena is a true artist.

I was so grateful to meet Helena at Myfaceplacedotca. During this pandemic, I would advice every business owner to take Advance Infection Control classes, for safety of your clients and your loved once. I loved the on going support, I have after the classes, she is so supportive, any uncertainty about any question or procedures. Helena is quick on getting back to you with supporting evidence.

Helena was very warm and inviting the first time that we met as I was very nervous. She answered all of my questions and explained the procedure thoroughly. I am VERY HAPPY with my new brows. Helena did microblading on my brows. I am very pleased with the outcome. I was looking to create a more raised look and she did just that using organic quality products. The combo with eyeliner is well worth it.

My next favourite service was the microdermabrasion. Both my husband and I did it and loved the feeling of cleanliness and glowing skin. What a way to distress your face and improve your skin. Just love it.

I’ve been a student since February 2021 and what was supposed to be only a 5 day course turned out to be almost 6 months because of the Covid shutdowns ..Helena stuck by me the entire time giving me programs by zoom and information to study ..Durng that time I ended up taking a few more courses with helena to add to my arsenal.. Helena was a awesome teacher , extremely detailed and deeply knowledgeable.. The besides all that the part where she shined the most was when I was opening my own Shop, she walked me through it all and when challenges came up and being a road block, Helena went beyond any trainer would do found the information that’s was needed and help me fight and conquer my challenges ..
Initially I was deciding between Helena and a few other big companies to train me but my gut feeling told me to go with Helena (myfaceplace.ca) and I’m happy I chose right with a big company I’m just a number but with My Face Place, I am a friend.
